Marble Diamond Saw Blades

A diamond blade with a continuous rim or fine-segmented design is used to cut marble. These blades use industrial diamonds bonded into the rim to abrade through the stone without shattering it. Yes, cultured marble can be cut with a diamond blade. Because cultured marble is a composite of marble dust and resin, it is slightly softer than natural marble but still requires a fine-rim diamond blade for clean, chip-free cuts. A continuous rim blade used wet is recommended to reduce heat buildup and prevent surface cracking or delamination of the gel coat.
